We are actively recruiting psychology postdoctoral fellows to join our team at The Center for Mindfulness and Behavior Therapy. Interest in DBT is a must, experience in DBT is preferable but not required. Upon successful completion of the postdoc, Illinois licensure and approval of the Team, this position can automatically transfer to a full-time, clinical staff position (this is the goal!) New hires will attend a BTech Foundational Training in DBT and participate in other training opportunities throughout the year. This is a full time, 5-days per week clinical position. The work week is Sunday through Thursday, with weeknight hours required to serve our clients’ needs. Compensation is based on a split-fee for billed services model. The average annual wages earned by postdoctoral fellows is approximately $60K - $65K plus a monthly insurance stipend. All staff work toward DBT-LBC Certification.
Postdoctoral Fellows have the opportunity to see approximately 10-15 individual DBT patients per week, co-lead various DBT skills training groups, engage in parent training, attend DBT Consultation Team meetings, attend a supervision meeting, and perform necessary phone calls and digital charting. The facilities are lovely and very well maintained. The surrounding area is a desirable, highly educated, therapy-friendly, high SES environment just minutes from Chicago. Most therapists bring their dogs to work every day and the atmosphere is friendly, homey and welcoming for staff and patients alike!
