The Department of Clinical Psychology at Seattle Pacific University invites applications for an 11-month, full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the rank of assistant or associate professor in an APA-accredited Clinical Psychology Ph.D. program. Major responsibilities include graduate-level teaching in the clinical psychology Ph.D. curriculum, establishing and maintaining an active program of research, seeking intramural and/or extramural research funding, and mentoring and supervising doctoral level students in research and clinical activities. The position will remain open until filled.
The ideal candidate will possess a PhD in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program and a clearly articulated program of research with evidence of scholarly productivity and current or potential for grant funding. Postdoctoral or other advanced training in research/clinical specialty is preferred. Area of expertise is open but candidates with expertise in adult clinical health psychology and/or assessment are particularly encouraged to apply. A psychology license or license eligibility in the State of Washington is required. Some teaching experience preferred. Applicants from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
