Postdoctoral Fellowships, Gunderson Personality Disorders Institute McLean Hospital Belmont, MA
The Gunderson Personality Disorders Institute Research Program at McLean Hospital is now accepting applications for a postdoctoral research position that will begin as soon as July 1, 2020. The research will involve participation in both new and well-established projects. The current focus of the lab is personality disorders, attachment, evidence-based treatments, and implementation of care. This position is a platform for the development of the candidate’s own program of funded research and collaborations with a number of McLean faculty and external experts will be available to facilitate this transition to independence. The position will be renewable for a second year, and successful candidates will be proposed for academic appointment as a Research Fellow in the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School.
Qualifications: Successful candidates will have completed a doctoral degree from an APA-accredited program in clinical psychology. Prior research on personality disorders is not required. Qualified applicants must have a solid foundation in statistics, preferably with skills including advanced regression techniques, network analysis, machine learning, structural equation modelling, and/or cross-lagged panel analysis. Experience with relevant analysis software (R, Mplus, etc.) is preferred.
