Visiting Assistant Professor in Clincial or Counseling Psychology
The Psychology Department at Bowdoin College invites applications for a one-year, full-time, Visiting Assistant Professor position in clinical or counseling psychology for the 2022-2023 academic year. The position begins July 1, 2022. A Ph.D. in these areas by July 1, 2022 is preferred; ABD considered. Teaching responsibilities include two courses per semester. Topics for these courses include: Introduction to Psychology or Research Methods, a course in Abnormal Psychology, a laboratory (research-based) course in clinical/abnormal psychology, and an advanced seminar in the candidate’s area of specialization.
